whosanktheboat-200Who Sank the Boat? by Pamela Allen is another wonderful story that kids will enjoy. Pamela Allen has a wonderful rhythm with her text and describing all the animals who get in the boat and repetition asking the question “Who sank the boat?”

I read this to my kids when they were younger, and they had a wonderful time guessing which animal sank the boat, and it was wonderful to rediscover this book in my bag of books from the newspaper and as part of this challenge.

One of my favourite characters in this book is the sheep who gets in carefully so she can knit 🙂
