I discovered this book at a time when my kids were fascinated by poo… The Story of the Little Mole who knew it was None of his Business by Werner Holzwarth/Wolk Erlbruch is a charming story of a mole who pops his head out of his hole to see if the sun rises, only to have a surprise land on his head.
The mole goes looking at different animals and they all show off their poo, much to the delight of my boys! In many ways, this book is like Who Flung Dung? however the ending is quite different.
If you have kids who are fascinated by poo, they will love this story. When I was looking at the affiliate links, I discovered it even had a pop up book!!
