Today’s book is one I had completely forgotten about but enjoyed rediscovering when I raided the boys bookshelf. Red Light, Green Light by Anastasia Suen is a simple story with gorgeous pictures.
This book brought back memories of how much my kids loved to build car tracks around the house. Little boys especially will love this book as they will be able to play the car track just like the pictures in the story. I can’t speak for little girls as I’ve only read this book to boys, but I’m sure they’ll love it too.
The simple words in the story are well chosen and have a good rhythm to them, especially when reading it out loud.
