greenandgrumpy-200I’m Green and I’m Grumpy by Alison Lester is a similar format to Who’s That Knocking? only this time, it’s all about dressing up.

On each double page, there are clues to see what each child is dressed as, starting with “I’m green and I’m grumpy” and going on from there. It’s fun trying to guess what each child is dressed as before lifting the flap.

One thing I loved about the illustrations is the costumes the kids are wearing look like hand made costumes that can be created from anything around the house, giving kids ideas for costumes of their own.

If you have kids who love dressing up, they will love this book.
